ADDISON, Texas - Today, Million Air Dallas successfully completed a two-day audit of its Part 135 Air Carrier Operations conducted by the Aviation Research Group/US (ARG/US). This audit renewed Million Air Dallas’s Platinum status with ARG/US, which is the highest safety rating issued to Part 135 operators. There are only 55 operators who have achieved the Platinum status, out of 2,338 operators in the United States.
According to Bob Schmidt, Director of Flight Operations, “By maintaining our high standards and continued safe operations, Million Air Dallas stands in an elite standing of operators.”
ARG/US is an objective, non-intrusive and fact-based auditor of Part 135 charter operators and is one of the most respected in the aviation industry. The audit reviewed all of Million Air Dallas’s manuals, regulatory compliance, policies, procedures and safety within the organization. The audit encompasses flight operations, maintenance, and fueling operations. Based on the data obtained, ARG/US rates operators from none, silver, gold or platinum.
Million Air Dallas is rated platinum by ARG/US (Aviation Research Group/US), is a member of the Wyvern Wingman program, and recipient of the Certificate of Excellence “Diamond Award” by the Federal Aviation Administration.
