Recap of 2008:
Million Air Dallas added two more heavy jets to their current fleet: Gulfstream G450, and the Embraer Legacy . In addition, they added medium to light jets; Citation III, Citation Ultra, Learjet 35A, Gulfstream G200, and a
Citation CJ2.
Their Aircraft Acquisitions and Marketing Department, headed by Mr. Don Gantt, had sales reported of $240M.
Million Air Dallas was rated in the two well known Industry Reports, AIN (Aviation International News) and ProPilot (Professional Pilot Magazine). AIN has conducted their survey of American FBOs since 1981, and
Million Air Dallas since opening in 1984 has rated consistently in the top 10. Million Air Dallas secured spot# 7, out of America’s 40 Top-rated FBOs with an overall average of 8.68. In this same report, Million Air
Dallas was also listed in the Top 40 Busiest FBOs-Worldwide, located at Addison Airport (ADS) which
also listed in the Top 40 Busiest Business Aviation Airports Worldwide.
The ProPilot PRASE Survey for 2008, announced Million Air Dallas ranked # 9 out of it’s Top U.S. FBOs and was featured in their July 2008 Issue.
Million Air Dallas received the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Diamond Award for Excellence for a
second consecutive year in a row.
Million Air Dallas announced a new success in the first annual ARG/US Audit 2007 Model Programs report. Mark R. Fischer, Executive Vice President of ARG/US wrote: “Your inclusion in this report demonstrated
that from a pool of more than 75 operators, your company exhibited one of the best programs we observed
for one or more areas of operation. Congratulations on your industry-leading examples.” Million Air Dallas
was awarded the Number 1 Management Team Category with a 4.0.
