CHARTER SAFETY
Time and again, Million Air Dallas has met and exceeded the standards set by industry research organizations. Below are some of the ratings and standards with whom Million Air Dallas has been reviewed and ranked.
ARG/US
Million Air Dallas is rated “Platinum” for its safety management system (SMS), the highest rating awarded by the independent Aviation Research Group. Fewer than 6% of turbine-engine aircraft operators are awarded this high rating. ARGUS investigates the full background, safety history, pilots and aircraft of each company undergoing the extensive audit.
Air Charter Safety Foundation
Million Air Dallas is fully certified by the ACSF. As of December 2009, only four operators in the USA have been awarded full certification for this, one of the industry’s most stringent safety audits. ACSF promulgates the International Audit Standard (IAS) which is elevating the standards found in other audits in order to harmonize the safety standards applied under various systems.Wyvern Wingman
Million Air Dallas has repeatedly passed all three segments of audits by Wyvern Consulting, Ltd. to become “Wyvern Recommended.” The standards require that pilots have almost four times the experience required by the FAA, the maintenance department must have a formal safety training program and the aircraft must pass a detailed audit. This is one of the most widely respected and well-known audit agencies in the aviation industry.Federal Aviation Administration
The FAA “Diamond Award” is the highest recognition conferred by the FAA for excellence in maintenance practices, training and safety processes. Million Air Dallas is a proud holder of the Diamond Award. The award program was implemented by the FAA to recognize and honor employers and technicians who take the initiative to commit to aircraft maintenance training and safety excellence in the areas of initial and recurrent training. The FAA awards range from Bronze to Diamond, with Diamond being the highest rating and most prestigious.
Of over 3,000 charter operators in the USA, only two meet all of the above safety standards. Million Air Dallas is an industry leader when it comes to safety practices.
International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations
The International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations code of best practice establishes standards that provide consistency in safety management across national and regional boundaries and their varying levels of regulation. Million Air Dallas has been certified as IS-BAO compliant in this global program. IS-BAO promotes safety by requiring operators to meet the highest level of safety management and professional practices.
